Our pediatrician asked us to start Sebastian on cereal. We bought some organic Oatmeal cereal for him (normally babies start off with Rice cereal, but he’s been getting rice through the particular formula he’s been on). Dr. Ragsdale wants him to be eating two meals/day of cereal by the time he goes in for his 6 month appointment, and she told us that it’ll probably take him 2 or 3 weeks of getting used to the stuff before he really wants to eat any of it, but to just be patient. Well, Michelle just finished his very first cereal feeding and he ate THE ENTIRE BOWL on his very first try! And he loved it!
And now he’s sitting next to me in his beloved bouncy seat, chewing on his toy and very, very content.
