So it’s frustrating once again to see on one side of me, NFL players deliberating whether or not to sign deals for $24-million a season (that’s for 16 games, right?) and then on the other side of me, enormous banks getting billions on top of billions of our tax dollars to avoid going out of business. These same banks that are getting my tax dollars have decided to triple my credit card interest rate to the point that we literally cannot afford to pay our bills this month. If the banks are getting all this money to help with their debt, why are they making it harder for me to pay mine?
This could turn into a looooong soapbox rant, but I’m not going to get into it. At least not today. Just a bit frustrated.
